Leaves fetid, smelling somewhat like peanut butter when crushed, usually 10-30 cm. Leaflets in 8-18 pairs, oblong-elliptic, pubescent, apex rounded to obtuse.

Flower

Petals yellow, sepals dark brown. Inflorescence a raceme.

Fruit and seed

A flattened pod with brown seeds that are compressed in same plane as the pod, oblong, apiculate.
