Geranium pusillum

Growing form

Annual or overwintering herb.

Size

5–30 cm high.

Stem

The stem is erect, profusely foliate and hirtellous.

Leaf

Leaves are orbicularly reniform, with 5–9 lobes, either palmatifid or palmatipartite.

Flower

The flowers are 4–6 mm wide, light purple and with short, hirtellous pedicels. The sepals are acute, without a cusp. The petals are emarginate and as long as the sepals. Anthers are absent in some of the stamens.

Fruit and seed

The mericarps are unarmed, covered with appressed hairs. The seed is smooth.
