Size

10–40 cm high.

Stem

The stem is procumbent and pubescent.

Leaf

The leaves are petiolate. The lamina is nearly orbicular, palmately veined and lobed with 3–7 lobes. The terminal lobe is larger than the other leaflets.

Flower

The flowers are solitary and axillary. The length of the pedicel is hardly as long as the bract. The calyx lobes are cordately ovate, long-ciliate and abundantly pubescent. The corolla is 4–9 mm wide, blue – purple.

Fruit and seed

The capsule is turgid and glabrous.
