Potentilla norvegica

Growing form

Typically an annual, over-wintering herb.

Size

20–50 cm high.

Stem

The stem is erect, green, hirsute, and branches above the midway of the stem. Large individuals are multiple-branched with ascending stems.

The basal leaves are ternate. Occasionally, the middle leaflet is trilobate, or the lamina of the whole leaf can be imparipinnate with five leaflets. The leaflets are lanceolate, coarsely serrate and green on both sides
