Growing form

Perennial herb.

Stem

The stem is procumbent, repent, often rooting at all nodes. The internodes are distinctly arcuate, green, and the first internode is 1–1.5 mm thick.

Leaf

The leaves are 1–3 mm wide, linear, often without a distinct lamina and entire.

Flower

The flowers are arranged individually and are typically 5–10 mm wide. The pedicel is straight, short and sulcate. The calyx is spreading and caducous. The petals are yellow.

Fruit and seed

The fruit is a 1.3–1.9 mm long achene. The curved beak is about 1/4 of the length of rest of the achene.
