The Collections of The Ark Nature Centre consist of hundreds of stuffed mammals and birds and bird eggs. It includes around 10 000 insect specimens. The total amount of the listed specimens is approximately 31 800, and the field of specialization is Satakunta region/Finland. Certain parts of the collections are on display at the The Ark Nature Centres exhibitions. The collections are available for research upon request. (en)
Luontotalo Arkin kokoelmissa on täytettyjä nisäkkäitä ja lintuja sekä lintujen munia. Lisäksi kokoelmiin kuuluu noin 10 000 hyönteisnäytettä. Luetteloitujen näytteiden kokonaismäärä on noin 31 800 kpl. Kokoelman erikoistumisalue on Satakunta/ Suomi Finland. Kokoelmat ovat saaneet alkunsa Satakunnan Museon (perust. 1888) toiminnan aikana sinne kerääntyneistä luonnontieteellisistä näytteistä. Ne siirrettiin uuteen luonnontieteelliseen yksikköön, Luontotalo Arkkiin, vuonna 2000. Osa kokoelmista on esillä Arkin näyttelykerroksessa. Kokoelmat ovat tutkijoiden käytössä sopimuksen mukaan. (fi)
