Collection description

The National Butterfly monitoring scheme in Finland is organized by the Finnish Lepidopterological Society. Data for NAFI, based on voluntary recording all over the country, is collected online via the Finnish Biodiversity Information Facility. The NAFI database and the maps for each species can be viewed and drilled into more detail at NAFI website. The scheme is open for all lepidopterists. (en)

Valtakunnallinen päiväperhosseuranta (NAFI) on Suomen Perhostutkijain Seuran koordinoima koko maan kattava ja kaikille avoin luonnon monimuotoisuuden seurantahanke. Seurannan kohteena ovat Suomen päiväperhoset ja niiden levinneisyyden ja runsauden muutokset. Havainnot tallennetaan Suomen Lajitietokeskukseen seurannan omalla lomakkeella. Vuodesta 1991 alkaen päiväperhosseurantaan on osallistunut yli 1 300 vapaaehtoista luontoharrastajaa, ja jokaisen seurantavuoden tulokset kokoava yhteenveto on ilmestynyt Suomen Perhostutkijain Seuran Baptria-jäsenlehdessä. Seurannassa kertynyt havaintoaineisto on tallennettu Luonnontieteellisen keskusmuseon tietokantaan. (fi)

Den riksomfattande dagfjärilsmoniteringen i Finland organiseras av Lepidopterologiska Sällskapet i Finland. Data för NAFI, baserad på frivillig registrering över hela landet, samlas in online via Finlands Artdatacenter. NAFI-databasen och kartorna för varje art kan ses och borras i mer detalj på NAFI:s webbplats. Moniteringen är öppet för alla lepidopterister. (sv)
