Lily bulb thrips – Liothrips vaneeckei

Description

Liothrips vaneeckei (Lily bulb thrips) on ripsiäislaji, joka elää liljakasvien sipuleissa ja orkideoiden juurakoissa.  Lajin alkuperä ei ole tiedossa, mutta se on mahdollisesti peräisin Aasiasta. Lajia esiintyy mm. Italiassa ja Englannissa. Laji on löydetty kerran liljapenkistä Etelä-Suomesta.
