Cottus gobio sensu stricto
Accepted name, MR.1
Silokivisimppu (Cottus gobio sensu stricto) on yksi eurooppalaisen kivisimppulajiryhmän (Cottus gobio sensu lato) noin 15 lajista. Se esiintyy puhtaana mm. Ruotsin järvissä, osassa Saksaa, Alppien alueella ja Länsi-Balkanilla. Suomen rannikkoalueen rannikkokivisimppu (Cottus cf. gobio) on perimältään tämän läntisen Cottus gobio s. str. -lajin ja itäisen järvikivisimpun (Cottus koshewnikowin) sekoitus. ----------Cottus gobio (sensu stricto) is one of the c. 15 species in the European Cottus gobio species complex. It is native to fresh waters e.g. in Sweden, parts of Germany, the Alps region and Western Balkans. The bullhead of Baltic coastal zone in Finland have a mixed ancestry, partly of this westerly Cottus gobio s. str., partly of the eastern Cottus koshewnikowi of Finnish lakes.
