Distribution in Finland
Kovakuoriaistyöryhmän alainen tarkastustyöryhmä hyväksyi kokouksessaan 31.10.2022 Quedius pseudoumbrinus Lohse, 1845 lajin Suomen lajiluetteloon. Päätös perustui julkaisuun Salnitsa, M. & Solodovnikov, A. 2021: DNA barcode sheds light on species boundaries in the common morphologically variable rove beetle Quedius umbrinus-complex that puzzled taxonomists for more than a century (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae). Kokouksessa tarkastettiin muutamia genitaalipreparoituja koirasyksilöitä mm. http://id.luomus.fi/GAC.35561 ja http://id.luomus.fi/GAC.35562, joiden perusteella päätös tehtiin. Näiden lisäksi on tiedossa myös muita koirasgenitaaleiltaan Q. pseudoumbrinukseen sopivia yksilöitä Suomesta.
