Description
Green foxtail is a loosely tufted annual grass, which is erect or basally geniculate. In Finnish conditions, it can become 20–50 cm tall, but in other countries, up to 1 metre. Green foxtail blooms in August-September. Foxtail millet, Setaria italica, resembles green foxtail. Both are highly diverse.
