Origin and general distribution
Eurooppalainen kasvi, jonka itäisimmät esiintymät ovat Ukrainassa ja Valko-Venäjällä, läntisimmät Saksassa ja Itävallassa. Itämeren piirissä se kasvaa aivan eteläisimmässä Ruotsissa, Baltian maissa ja Suomessa. Myös Karjalan kannaksella ja Laatokan rannalla.
