Origin and general distribution
Etelä-Korea. Tällä hetkellä koreanpihtaa esiintyy hajanaisesti neljässä eri paikassa: Mt. Gaya, Mt. Chiri ja Mt. Togyu mantereella ja Mt. Halla Jejun saarella. Yhteensä laskettu pinta-ala on noin 12 neliökilometriä.
