Distribution in Finland
Tarhaloiskimalainen on ollut aina harvalukuinen Etelä-Suomen laji, mutta 1900-luvun lopulla se on hävinnyt kokonaan; viimeinen löytö on Vantaalta 1985.
Origin and general distribution
Tarhaloiskimalainen esiintyy Euroopassa 62. leveysasteen eteläpuolella Atlantin rannikolta Uraliin ja edelleen Siperiaan ja Mongoliaan ulottuvalla alueella. Eteläisimmät yksilöt on löydetty Iranista. Tarhaloiskimalaista ei kuitenkaan ole tavattu Norjasta.
