Webinar 25 March 2026: How do invasive alien species spread and how should this be prevented?

How do invasive alien species enter a country and spread into natural environments? How can their further spread be effectively prevented? This online event will examine three key pathways of invasive alien species (IAS) through case examples. The webinar will also address potential solutions, development needs, and research and information gaps that can strengthen prevention efforts.
The event is intended for experts, authorities, and other stakeholders working in the control, prevention, research, and monitoring of IAS. The webinar will bring together specialists from Finland, Sweden, and Norway. It will be held in English.
