Keskikokoisia mittareita. Pää, ruumis ja jalat vahvasti karvaiset. Silmät pienet, ovaalit. Etusiipien suonet R3 ja R4 yhteensulautuneet tai erkaantuvat lähellä kärkeä. Takasiipien suoni M2 heikko tai ei näkyvä; suonet A2–A3 olemassa ja A1 heikko. Metapostnotumin fenestra media pieni, ei laajentunut lisätympanumiksi.
