Phyllophila

Otsassa pyöristynyt ulkonema, joskus ääripäästään karkea ja sen alapuolella sarvimainen levy. Koiraiden tuntosarvet ripsiset. Imukärsä täysin kehittynyt. Huulirihmat yläviistoon suuntautuneet, lyhyet. Takaruumiin tyvellä pieni tupsu.

Koiraiden sivulämssä verrattain lyhyt, sacculuksen kärjen kohdalta kuroutunut, keskeltä leventynyt, kapenee kärkeenpäin; hakanen vanttera, kohtalaisen lyhyt, laajentunut kärjen läheltä, teräväkärkinen. Aedeagus ilman kornuutteja.

Toukat elävät asterikasveilla (Asteraceae).
