Moerckia hibernica s.str.(after splitting in 2016). According to Konstantinova et al. (2021) Moerckia hibernica sensu stricto does not occur in Finland. The distribution of the species is restricted to oceanic parts of Europe, e. g. Great Britain. The situation of the taxon in Finland is uncertain.
