Includes Globicephalidae, Grampidelphidae, Stenidae, Orcinae, Lissodelphinae, Cephalorhynchinae and Delphininae (Fraser and Purves, 1960); see Kasuya (1973), Mead (1975), Barnes (1978). Also includes Orcaella (see Heyning, 1989a and Lint et al., 1990), sometimes put in the family Monodontidae.
