Pää karkeasuomuinen. Tuntosarvien scapus (tyvijaoke) käsipainon muotoinen. Mandibelit toimivat. Leukarihmat pitemmät kuin huulirihmat, 4-jaokkeiset. Mesoscutum ilman keskisaumaa. Keski- ja takasäärissä piikkikehrät. Siivet yhtäläissuoniset; etusiivissä sormimainen liuska (jugum).
