Collection description
eBird Observational Dataset (EOD) accessed though GBIF. The EOD contains basic occurrence data including species, date, and location. Additional metadata associated with these observations, including sampling event data (such as effort), are not included. Observer names have been anonymized. eBird publishes a new version of the data usually once per year. eBird Observational Dataset (EOD), joka on haettu GBIF:n kautta. EOD sisöltää havaintojen perustietoja, kuten lajin, päivämäärän ja sijainnin. Data ei sisällä lisätietoja kuten havaintotapahtuman tehokkuutta. Havainnoijien nimet on anonymisoitu. eBird julkaisee uuden version datasta yleensä kerran vuodessa. Data quality description
Observations can be submitted by anyone, and are reviewed by eBird volunteer reviewers that possess expert knowledge of local birds, their distributions and abundances. Coordinates have no accuracy information. Typically coordinates refer to the center point of a larger observation area. (en)

28.10.2025 14:45Sensitive observation data have undergone obfuscation including spatial aggregation so that precise locations and other sensitive information is not publicly available. The precise location, place names, dates, names of observers and other information may have been obscured or removed. Read more about sensitive observations.
Data may have a research embargo (usually 2–4 years), during which data may have been hidden or obscured as described above. Data producer-owners may have chosen to permanently obfuscate all or part of their data.
To gain access to non-obscured data, you may make a data request. Non-obscured data is also available to Finnish authorities
