Groundsel-bush (Eastern baccharis) Baccharis halimifolia

Description

Groundsel-bush is an up to four metres tall shrub of the Asteroideae / Compositae subfamily. It is native to North America, Mexico and the Caribbean islands. In southern Europe, it is an invasive alien species on seashores and in estuaries.
