Raptors Accipitriformes

Description

The order Accipitriformes includes most of the diurnal birds of prey. The families in the order include New World vultures (Cathartidae), secretarybirds (Sagittariidae), ospreys (Pandionidae), and eagles, hawks and kites (Accipitridae). The family of hawks includes e.g. genera golden eagles (Aquila), buteonine hawks, also called buzzards (Buteo), vultures (Gyps), and harriers (Circus).
